Behind Craft Unit is a team that has been working intensively with Craft CMS and Craft Commerce for many years. The core team has been working together for over 10 years and brings experience from hundreds of projects. We do not work with freelance programmers; the expertise is within the team. We have taken on, optimised or rebuilt many projects.
Unlike agencies or freelancers without a real focus on Craft, we work exclusively with Craft and know the specifics of the system from daily practice. We communicate transparently, coordinate closely and remain friendly and professional in our exchanges. We understand how content is created and how editorial teams work. We can combine technical and editorial requirements without creating complexity. We are approachable, think proactively and support projects with a clear understanding of content and technology.
50 years of Craft CMS expertise
craft unit is a young agency that was founded in 2023. However, we have been working together as a team for around 10 years. Until 2023, we were part of another agency. We left that agency in 2023 and the entire development team re-established itself as craft unit.
We have been working exclusively with Craft CMS since 2016 and have completed hundreds of projects since then.

In addition to our passion for the ‘best CMS in the world’, we are a bunch of team-oriented individualists, each with our own hobbies, e.g.

How we function as a team
Realising Craft CMS projects is teamwork! craft unit always works as a team, with each of us focusing on different areas. As we all work according to clean programming standards, everyone in the team is able to manage other Craft customer projects. We avoid unnecessary plug-ins that are not essential for the operation of the website.
Close and daily coordination as well as internal reporting to the team during the project phases characterise our work.
Team events, joint breakfasts or sweet cake afternoons – our regular activities are really well received by the team.
