ENNO – The new train connection for our region

Since December 2015, Hanover, Wolfsburg, Braunschweig, and Hildesheim have benefited from their own railway line: ENNO. The new connection closes a long-standing gap in regional transport and offers commuters and travelers a comfortable, direct connection – without having to change trains.

The modern, electric trains are among the most environmentally friendly in their class. Equipped with numerous power outlets, Wi-Fi, and on-board passenger service, every journey is pleasant and safe – supported by a camera system and an evening security service.

Free Wi-Fi – a first in regional transport

ENNO is the first regional transport service in Lower Saxony to introduce free Wi-Fi. As a pilot project, it brings digital freedom directly to the train – a real added value for all passengers.

Digital implementation by craft unit

The technical implementation of the website and the digital communication concept was carried out by craft unit. The focus was on a mobile-optimized solution that allows editors to maintain content on the go, anytime, anywhere.

Deutsche Bahn timetable databases were integrated via interfaces – providing commuters with important real-time information.
